András Győrfi, the co-founder of the project and editor of crypto news site Kripto Akademia, revealed the statue of Satoshi Nakamoto to the public.
A bronze statue of Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto was displayed for visitors of Graphisoft Park in Budapest on Thursday. Satoshi Nakamoto is the name used by the pseudonymous person or persons who developed Bitcoin.
The alleged final break between Satoshi and his collaborators would come on April 26, 2011. “The press just turns that into a pirate currency angle. Maybe instead make it about the open source project and give more credit to your contributors; it helps motivate them,” Satoshi wrote.
“Satoshi Nakamoto has created an independent money free of any middlemen that empowered people with financial sovereignty […] We have erected this statue to remind ourselves courage is virtue. We need to keep on dreaming big.”Debreczeni Barnabás
What is Bitcoin?
Bitcoin is not attached to a state or a specific government, releasing it from a central issuing authority or a regulatory body. There is no establishment deciding when to produce more Bitcoins, monitor, detect, or inspect fraud.
Twenty-one million bitcoins were issued, and based on the protocol; no more will be created in the future. Now there are still around 3 million Bitcoins available to be mined, and it’s projected that the last one might be mined around 2140.
Bitcoin is a global currency, and you can use it all around the world, without the need to exchange it. One of the most important components of Bitcoin is a global ledger, called the blockchain.
The blockchain registers every transaction that has ever been made. Volunteers verify the accuracy and keep track of every transaction through specialized computers known as “mining rigs”.
Because I need it. But help me. Just help me. Come help me. But come with me. But help me. Because I need it. But help me. Just help me. Come help me. But come with me. But help me.
