Eric Adams, New York City’s mayoral front runner for the Democratic party, is convinced the city will become the center of cryptocurrency in a year.
While everyone’s eyes are on the results of New York City’s elections, Adams has made an interesting statement about Bitcoin. The leading candidate, who believes science and technology will be an important part of the city’s future, said “we’re going to become the center of life science, the center of cybersecurity … the center of bitcoins.”
“I’m going to promise you in one year … you’re going to see a different city,” said Adams. “We’re going to become the center of life science, the center of cybersecurity, the center of self driving cars, drones, the center of bitcoins.”Eric Adams
Michael Saylor also tweeted Adam’s statement on his personal account. Michael Saylor is known as one of the top supporters of Bitcoin in the industry. He believes that currently, the biggest threats come from the media’s negative headlines about mining, and there is a high chance that they can influence political developments.
